Bornholm Cable
Bornholm Cable is one of the longest submarine three phase AC cables in the world. It is a 60 kV cable interconnecting the power grids of Bornholm and Sweden. The Bornholm Cable starts at 60 kV substation Hasle () and runs on its 1.4 kilometres as underground cable with a cross section of 400 square millimetres to the Baltic Sea, where the 43.5 kilometres long submarine cable section starts. At this section copper conductors with 240 square millimetres are used.
From the landing point at Sweden it runs on a length of 700 metres as underground cable with conductors with 400 square millimetres to the cable terminal situated at , where a 4.2 kilometres long 60 kV overhead line to the 132 kV/60 kV-Substation Borrby substation () starts. At this line copper conductors with 127 square millimetres are used.
Borrby substation is fed by Tomelilla substation () by a 132 kV line with 2 circuits.

Rønne Power Station has 2 steam units, one oil-fired with a generation capacity of 25 MW inaugurated in 1974, and
a second one, which can be fired either with oil or coal. It was inaugurated in 1995 and has a generation capacity
of 37 MW.
